Girl Scout membership is open to all girls, ages 5-17 who accept the Girl Scout Promise and Law.

 

Girl Scout Daisies are in kindergarten and first grades.

Girl Scout Daisies are the newest and youngest members of the Girl Scout family. As a Girl Scout Daisy, you can:

  • Put together a scrapbook about yourself and your family.
  • Explore a city park or a real farm, and learn how we share the world with plants and animals.
  • Visit an adopted grandparent with the troop.

Girl Scout Brownies are in second and third grades.

If you're an explorer or a discoverer -- or would like to be one -- then you're all set to be a Girl Scout Brownie! As a Girl Scout Brownie, you can:

  • Visit your neighborhood radio station.
  • Sing new songs and play new games.
  • Go on an overnight camping trip and learn about living in the outdoors.

Girl Scout Juniors are in fourth and fifth grades.

Do you look around at new and interesting things and think, " I'd like to try that!" ? That's what Girl Scout Juniors is all about. As a Girl Scout Junior, you can:

  • Try your hand at everything from photography and dramatics to fashion and computers.
  • Sharpen your outdoor living skills on weekend camping trips or at summer camp.
  • Lead a bicycle-safety workshop in your community.

Girl Scout Cadettes are in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades.

Girl Scout Cadettes take on a whole new dimension and lets you be the one to take the lead. As a Girl Scout Cadette, you can:

  • Participate in destinations and travel across the country or around the world.
  • Take on a challenging backpacking, canoeing, rafting or cycling adventure.
  • Join in on make-up, fashion, and fitness seminars.

Girl Scout Seniors are in ninth and tenth grades.

Girl Scout Seniors take on a deeper dimension into their world! As a Senior Girl Scout, you can:

  • Participate in destinations and travel across the country or around the world.
  • Take on a challenging backpacking, canoeing, rafting or cycling adventure.
  • Join in on make-up, fashion, and fitness seminars.
  • Develop friendships with Girl Guides from other countries (e.g., e-mail pals, joint international projects, visits to World Centers).

Girl Scout Ambassadors are in eleventh and twelfth grades.

Girl Scout Ambassadors are an all-new level! As a Girl Scout Ambassador, you can:

  • Participate in destinations and travel across the country or around the world.
  • Take on a challenging backpacking, canoeing, rafting or cycling adventure.
  • Join in on make-up, fashion, and fitness seminars. 
  • Create an action plan that could be implemented to include more young people in setting town priorities.

*Girl Scouts at all age levels may participate in Girl Scout-sponsored activities either with their troop/group or individually.
